To treat the infections right, we have to separate viruses from bacteria.

  • Viruses

Antibiotics are not affective against viruses. Viruses are very small and they don’t have their own metabolisms. That’s why they cannot proliferate by themselves. They uses the cell which they penetrated to proliferate new viruses. After that, they exterminate the cell and continue to do the same thing to other cells. Some diseases caused by viruses: Cold, acute bronchitis, influenza, many types of laryngitis and otitis, measles, rubella, viral hepatitis, AIDS etc.

  • Bacteria

Bacterial infections can be treated by using an antibiotic. Bacteria is a microorganism which is consisting of a single cell and they can stay alive in human body, air, water or earth. They can proliferate very fast. Antibiotics stops the reproduce of bacteria. Some diseases caused by bacteria: Pneumonia, bacterial meningitis, wound infections, some types of laryngitis and otitis.
